Called Panagyurska, after the region it originated it from*, this type of sharena salt is made of garden and mountain savory, fenugreek, thyme and corn. It is very popular in Bulgaria and, of course, super tasty.
Usage: This particular variation goes well with boiled eggs, sandwiches (e.g. butter and bacon) and pizza or for flavoring breads.
*The Panagyurishte region (located in Sredna Gora Mountain) is famous for its “Panagyurska Lukanka” and the famous “Panagyurski Eggs” recipe.
